The Ninja ZX-10RR Returns To BSB With Binch Racing

Kawasaki UK is delighted to announce that the iconic Ninja ZX-10RR will be returning to the British Superbike Championship grid next season, as Binch Racing step up to compete in the prestigious class. With technical support from FS-3 Racing and Kawasaki, the team is currently assessing several rider options, with the one-rider lineup to be announced later this year.

While the AJN Steelstock bimota team have achieved fantastic results on the ZX-10RR-powered bimota KB998 Rimini, the absence of a green machine on the grid has been felt by fans and Kawasaki alike. That is why Kawasaki UK is thrilled to confirm a return to the series for the Ninja ZX-10RR, which will also mark the debut of the new-styled Ninja on the BSB grid.

The bike will be fielded by the talented Binch Racing team, who will be making the step up to the blue-riband class for the first time. The team should need no introduction to race fans, having achieved great success in recent years in the British Supersport class and National Superstock 600 Championship, most notably at the hands of AJN Steelstock bimota's Max Cook and Joe Talbot. They will now bring that passion and experience into the Superbike class.

Following the announcement of the new rules for the 2027 British Superbike class, the Ninja ZX-10RR's excellent chassis, combined with more balanced engine power rules, should make the Kawasaki ultra-competitive. The Binch Racing team will also have further support from the FS-3 Racing team as well as Kawasaki directly.

The team are currently assessing riders for the 2027 season, with a one-man team announced later this year.

Ross Burridge, Head of Marketing & Racing Department at Kawasaki Motors UK:

“This deal has been in the works for some time, and I am delighted that Dave and his team have taken the step to move into the Superbike class with Kawasaki. It is important for Kawasaki to showcase the Ninja ZX-10RR in the premier class, and I think that with the right rider, we can help them hit the ground running in 2027.”

Dave Binch:

“A discussion around new regulations for BSB in 2027 sparked my interest, and I'm proud to say that we will be on the 2027 British Superbike grid as a Kawasaki-supported team with technical support from the very experienced guys at FS-3. My plan is to follow our tried-and-tested model, work hard, prepare well and steadily improve against the realistic goals we set ourselves.

Now that the solid foundations between Kawasaki, Binch Racing & FS-3 have been set, we can engage in the process of building the new 2027 regulation bikes and seeking out a rider lineup to fit with our partners and us.”

The Club Ride: Share Your Favourite Route!

We know that some of the very best rides aren't found in guidebooks, they're discovered and enjoyed by passionate Kawasaki riders across the country. That's why we're excited to launch The Club Ride, a brand-new feature for our upcoming Autumn/Winter edition of the Club Kawasaki Exclusive Members Magazine.

We're inviting Club Kawasaki members to showcase their favourite motorcycling routes and help inspire fellow riders with road recommendations from our incredible community. Whether it's a spectacular coastal cruise, a winding countryside adventure or a hidden gem of a café you've returned to time and time again, we want to hear about it! Our Club team will review all submissions and select a collection of standout member routes to feature in the upcoming magazine, giving fellow Kawasaki enthusiasts plenty of inspiration for their next ride, and spreading the joy our chosen roads can bring us.

To get involved, simply send us your route details along with a photo of yourself and your Kawasaki enjoying the ride. Submissions can be emailed to club@kawasaki.co.uk, and we'd love to hear what makes your chosen route so special. From breath-taking scenery and fantastic roads to memorable stops along the way, every route has a story worth sharing.

At Kawasaki, we're incredibly proud of the vibrant and supportive Club community we've built together, and The Club Ride is another opportunity to celebrate the riders who make it so special. We can't wait to see the routes that have become your personal favourites and, in turn, share them with fellow members in the magazine so everyone can enjoy more curated rides recommended by Kawasaki riders, for Kawasaki riders. Happy riding, and we look forward to seeing your submissions!

Two New Kawasaki Models You Won't Want to Miss

Two exciting additions
to the 2027 Kawasaki range have been making headlines this month, giving riders even more to look forward to in the year ahead. On one side, the rally-inspired KLE500 Smartride joins the growing KLE500 family with Kawasaki's innovative self-engaging clutch system and new tubeless tyres, making everyday riding simpler while retaining the fun and confidence that have helped make the KLE500 such a success.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the adventure spectrum, the brand-new Versys 900 arrives as the most sporting Versys yet, combining the versatility the range is famous for with the exhilarating performance of Kawasaki's 948cc In-Line Four engine.

Although each machine has its own distinct personality, both highlight Kawasaki's ongoing focus on giving riders more choice and more ways to enjoy life on two wheels. The KLE500 Smartride brings added accessibility and convenience to riders looking for adventure on and off the road, while the Versys 900 delivers a blend of comfort, technology and excitement for those drawn to longer journeys and adrenaline-filled rides alike.

From innovative rider aids to practical touring credentials and adventure-ready capability, there's plenty for enthusiasts to get excited about.
