WIN A 2022 KAWASAKI Z650RS WITH MOTORCYCLE LIVE

Kawasaki will start a Retrovolution in 2022 with the introduction of the new Z650RS. Augmenting its already hugely popular retro sport line, the Z650RS will open the mid-capacity class to a wide range of riders. Recognised as being at the forefront of the rapidly expanding retro sport scene, Kawasaki has the unique advantage of close to fifty years of Z heritage and this has been brought to bear on the design of the new 2022 machine.

Specification is one thing but the styling of the Z650RS is a whole new ball game. Evoking myriad memories of the Z650-B1, the paint and pinstripes are a faithful reproduction of the green version of the earlier machine while the iconic “duck tail” cowling behind the seat and faithfully crafted side panels also play homage to the 1977 machine. Even the seat and its stitching pattern reveal a familiar fastidious attention to detail by Kawasaki stylists.

In order to enter the competition to be the proud owner of this fantastic Z650RS, please answer the questions below and submit your information.

REVO Seven Kawasaki's Dylan Walsh lines up ready to contest the 2022 Monster Energy AMA Supercross

After British Championship and MX2 World Championship success in 2019 and 2020, the British born Kiwi and the REVO Seven Kawasaki team set their sights on the 2022 AMA Monster Energy Supercross Championship.

Dylan and the REVO Seven Kawasaki team will be heading to California next week to commence testing on board the new Kawasaki KX250, preparing himself for the up and coming West Coast SX rounds starting in January.

“Having attended many super cross rounds over the last eleven years, with my first being Anaheim in 2010, I am so excited to be competing as a team,' explained Team Manager Mark Yates.

“Especially being a British team and technically a British rider with Dylan. Everyone thinks he's a kiwi but he's travelled as a Brit his entire life and only received his New Zealand passport in 2019, when competing for Team NZ at the MXON.” “I think Dylan will definitely hold his own and he is no stranger to Supercross, having competed in the All Stars class at the Monster Cup back in 2016. We have no doubt that Dylan will qualify for the night show, but the goal will be to make the main event, and move onto the next round from there.”

Joining alongside Dylan, will be his 2021 and future 2022 British Championship team mechanic Luke Humphries, and Team Manager Mark Yates. Being based in Lake Elsinore, this will give the team a great opportunity to be fully prepared before the start of the season. With extensive engine development by the team and Scott Breeda at MXology, this has ensured that Dylan will be as comfortable as possible on board his machine in the US.

Speaking to Revo Seven Kawasaki's Crew chief, Sam Yates, he said “I am really pleased to say that we are going to be racing the West Coast AMA Supercross series, with Dylan. It's always been a dream of Mark and I.”

“We as a team have been working round the clock to get engine components designed, developed and tested alongside our engine partner MXology factory racing. Dylan is really happy with the engine and bike package, with more to follow in the next few weeks once the bikes are in the states.”

“I just want to thank Dylan's Mechanic Luke Humphries, Josh Pitt's who has done Dylan's engine calibration, Scott Breeda from MXology and of course the big boss man Mark! Without these guys working tirelessly it wouldn't be possible.”

Taking months to plan, Revo Seven Kawasaki have called in help from connections in the United States, to help support the venture. Featuring full support from Kawasaki UK, Seven MX, Dunlop USA, VP Racing fuels, Motul Oils USA, and Matrix Racing Products to name a few, as well as RFX, Twin Air, Pro Circuit, Rekluse, Xtrig, Motomaster, Samco, Superlite, Pro Carbon, Propeg, Enjoy Graphics and RK Chains as well as other existing sponsors.

“I am really excited to get to the USA and start our new journey competing in the West coast lites Supercross championship,' explained Dylan.“It has been my ultimate dream since I was a kid so I can't thank Mark and the whole Revo Seven Kawasaki team enough for the opportunity. We have a really strong 250 Kawasaki machine and a family like team so I think we can do something special so can't wait to get going!”

Kawasaki ready for impressive return to EICMA

Kawasaki has confirmed its participation at the EICMA 2021 show promising an impressive line-up of new models plus exclusive news of future plans.

Those plans include ambitious growth forecasts for the newly formed company, Kawasaki Motors, Ltd. that was recently launched concentrating its energies exclusively on motorcycles, off-road four-wheeled vehicles, JetSki personal watercraft and general-purpose engines. Among its stated missions, the company will strive towards carbon neutrality combining all the knowledge and heritage accrued over decades of production matched to a desire to meet upcoming challenges with new forms of motive power.

Following the announcement of a new production facility in Mexico and an expanding workforce, Kawasaki will use EICMA to explain that it is characteristically optimistic about the future.  Now fully adopting the River Mark as a global corporate identity logo, the ambitious goal of Kawasaki Motors, Ltd. is to introduce ten EV or Hybrid motorcycles by 2025. Plans are also in progress to develop five new advanced fuel off-road four-wheeled vehicles within the same time frame.

In terms of motorcycle product for the coming season, the Kawasaki show stand will display an impressive array of current models in the new year colour ways and an exciting combination of already unveiled new 2022 models plus – as the media and fans have come to expect – more than one important global public premiere.

Already announced 2022 models on the Kawasaki EICMA booth will include the company's latest Retro Sport model, the mid-weight Z650RS, in its three vibrant colour ways. Making that part of the stand a complete “Zed Fest”, the company will also display the new Z900SE and Z900RS SE “Yellow Ball” plus the ever-popular Z900 in a new white colourway.

“Kawasaki fans have been waiting patiently to physically experience new models at the EICMA show for long enough. Now the wait is over our mission is to reward their patience with innovative, category leading machines that deliver on our promise to Let the Good Times Roll, a phrase that embodies the pure joy that comes from riding Kawasaki's fun-to-ride motorcycles”, commented Mr Ito, President of Kawasaki Motors, Ltd.

“The mid-term goals for Kawasaki Motors, Ltd. have been well documented. EICMA offers the ideal live environment to present further new models for the near future and to play an important part in our mission to return to more normal times”.
