Boats.co.uk appointed exclusive UK distributor for Kawasaki's high performance, fast accelerating personal watercraft range.
Boats.co.uk, one of the UK's biggest and most diverse boat dealerships has announced an agreement with Kawasaki to become the exclusive UK distributor of its new personal watercraft (PWC) range. After a 6 year absence from the UK market for new sales of Kawasaki's 'multi-seat' and 'stand up' Jet-Skis®, the appointment follows Kawasaki's plans to reinforce their position at the centre of the recreational and extreme personal watercraft scene.Kawasaki is widely acknowledged as playing a fundamental role in the birth of personal watercraft and they coined the term 'Jet-Ski', which it subsequently trade-marked. In 1973, the company released the world's first mass-production Jet Ski® watercraft, the JS400, paving the way for the beginning of the personal watercraft market.
Further trophies came in the World Supersport class, with Philipp Öttl taking third in the opening race, his second podium of his rookie season, following it up with fifth in race two, one place behind teammate Lucas Mahias in fourth.
The World Supersport 300 class once again provided fans with two action-packed races, but it was Jeffrey Buis who shone through, taking pole position before doubling up on race wins, his first victories in the class. All six podium positions were claimed by riders racing the Kawasaki Ninja 400.
This weekend also saw further Kawasaki success, when the SRC squad were able to claim second place at the gruelling Le Mans 24 Hours World Endurance Championship!
Kawasaki Dealers across the UK have been hosting demo events in partnership with Focused Events. And there is just one date left on the calendar for this year so get yourself down to Milllenium Motorcycles on the 12th September.
The event will give visitors the opportunity to test ride a new Kawasaki model from the exciting 2020 range, in an environment that follows strict social distancing guidelines. From exhilarating mid capacity, to top of the line supercharged motorcycles, the following models will be available to ride on the day:
Ninja ZX-6R, Z650, Ninja 650, Versys 650, Vulcan S, Z900, Z900RS, Z900RS Café, Ninja ZX-10R, Ninja 1000SX, Versys 1000 SE, Ninja H2 SX SE+, Z H2.
Test rides must be pre-booked before the event to avoid large crowds at the dealership, and customers are asked to bring their own hand sanitiser and refreshments.

Kawasaki Motors UK are supporting the #UnlockYourFreedom initiative that has been launched by the Motorcycle Industry Association (MCIA) to highlight the reasons why riding a scooter or motorcycle is a great alternative to stay isolated and safe.
Government advice states: ''Consider all other forms of transport before using public transport,” therefore increasing numbers of people are looking for reliable and quick modes of transport during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Motorcyclists across the world already know the benefits of two wheels - they're affordable, economical, fun and can help ease congestion. However, the list of advantages has been expanded even further now that being socially distanced is high on people's agendas. Now, choosing two-wheels is a safer alternative to public transport as it allows individuals to remain isolated and a safe distance from others outside of their households.
If you're 17 or over, you can ride a motorcycle or scooter up to 125cc or 11KW having completed your Compulsory Basic Training (CBT). Or if you're 16, you're able to ride a scooter up to 50cc without even passing a test, all you have to do is complete CBT which often takes as little as one day.
