And Update from Club Kawasaki

We know you are desperate for events to be back on the Club Kawasaki calendar, and believe us when we say – we can't wait to be planning them again!

Usually, pre-Covid19, our time would be spent planning Kawasaki UK events, Club Kawasaki events and talking with Kawasaki dealers and Club Ambassadors about their events. And with Motorcycle Live, World Superbikes and so many more cancelled this year, BSB are currently not allowing spectators – there really is nothing we can do about those. We have had Dealer Demo Days with some still left to come before the end of this month. As soon as we are able to bring more events to the calendar safely – we will do so.

It's great to see that some of you are able to continue to take part in the Club Challenge and we urge you to stay up to date with the latest Government advice on Covid-19 and not put yourself or others at risk.

In just 4 weeks you could be riding overseas again with No Limits Trackdays

After what has seemed, certainly to us, like an eternity, the UK Government has removed the quarantine restrictions on those returning from Portugal.

So what do we have left available in 2020?

Estoril; 14-16 September from £619 incl accommodation, bike transport and 3 days tracktime. Estoril is now hosting the finale of the 2020 World Superbike Championship, get on track there before the experts.

Portimao; 18-20 September from £589 incl accommodation, bike transport and 3 days tracktime. 5-7 December from £569 incl accommodation, bike transport and 3 days tracktime. Portimao is also hosting both Formula 1 and MotoGP in the next few months.

This particular backpack which has been embroidered with the Ninja 1000SX Logo and Cordoba 2020 as it's from the European Press Introduction which took place earlier this year which the team from KMUK organised.

We've loved your entries and hope everyone's answers have now given you lots of new ideas of fantastic places to visit too! Here are some highlights:

#UNLOCKYOURFREEDOM

Kawasaki Motors UK are supporting the #UnlockYourFreedom initiative that has been launched by the Motorcycle Industry Association (MCIA) to highlight the reasons why riding a scooter or motorcycle is a great alternative to stay isolated and safe.

Government advice states: ''Consider all other forms of transport before using public transport,” therefore increasing numbers of people are looking for reliable and quick modes of transport during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Motorcyclists across the world already know the benefits of two wheels - they're affordable, economical, fun and can help ease congestion. However, the list of advantages has been expanded even further now that being socially distanced is high on people's agendas. Now, choosing two-wheels is a safer alternative to public transport as it allows individuals to remain isolated and a safe distance from others outside of their households.

If you're 17 or over, you can ride a motorcycle or scooter up to 125cc or 11KW having completed your Compulsory Basic Training (CBT). Or if you're 16, you're able to ride a scooter up to 50cc without even passing a test, all you have to do is complete CBT which often takes as little as one day.

Find essential information about the licensing process at the #unlockyourfreedom website, and if you want to learn to ride with Kawasaki, don't forget to look at Kawasaki Rider Training Services - KRTS - for your motorcycle training needs.
